1. Hours: 15 hours per week (flexible scheduling) for 12 weeks, starting in February and ending in April.
2. Weekly supervision provided by the Partnerships & Development Director.
3. Collaborate on grant writing and reporting, assisting in research, drafting proposals, and preparing supporting documentation for grant submissions.
4. Support development of fundraising campaign materials, including writing donor appeals, creating case statements, and crafting social media copy.
5. Assist with managing and organizing donor databases, campaign close-out, and follow-up communications with donors and sponsors.
6. Help coordinate the logistics of the spring development event, including donor outreach, event planning, and materials preparation.
7. Professionally communicate with donors, volunteers, and community partners via phone, email, and in person.
8. Learn and apply Y branding guidelines to ensure cohesive social media and marketing materials.
9. Represent the YMCA in the community, especially at fundraising events and meetings.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
6. Ability to travel to Frankfort and other program venues with reliable transportation.
7. Self-starter with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
8. Experience working with middle and high school students or in a nonprofit setting is a plus.
9. Ability to lift and move 35 pounds, maintain energy during events, and manage receipts/expenses accurately.
