Volunteering with the Commonwealth Teen Advocates (CTA) Program
The Commonwealth Teen Advocates (CTA) program is a six-week advocacy and professional development initiative designed to equip high school students with essential skills while empowering them to create actionable projects addressing real needs in their communities across Kentucky.
Through experiential education, participants gain hands-on experience in policy, public speaking, research, and collaboration, working alongside government, business, and non-profit professionals. The program concludes with a final project presentation that students can implement post-program to continue their advocacy work.
