Kentucky YMCA Advisor Portal
With access to the Advisor Portal, you can:
- Manage your school/delegation roster
- Submit intents and Register for KYA and KUNA
- Manage Student YMCA memberships and roles.
Below, you’ll find helpful tips and walk-throughs of the different processes you’ll encounter on the Advisor Portal. If at any point you have an additional question, please email aly@kyymca.org.
Manage Your School Roster
In the Online Community, for new students and adults, you’ll need to enter in the names – first and last, as well as preferred (used for name tags) name if needed – and a personal email address.
- Delegate/Adult Info Forms
Each student/adult you add to your roster will receive an email with a link to their respective Info Form, which they must submit to finish the process. You can see which students and adults have not yet completed their Info Forms on your School Roster. These students and adults will NOT be able to be registered until they complete the form. We highly recommend starting this process early. - New School Year, New Info Forms
All students and adults who participated in the past year will receive notification that they need to review their info form and SUBMIT that it is still accurate before they can register. This can be accessed via email sent from the Online Community or by matching name and email on the Info Form. - Student Switched Schools
If you need to remove a student from your school roster because they have switched schools, send go to our Switching Schools Form. - Removing Advisors/Chaperones
If you need to remove an advisor or chaperone from your school roster, please reach out to Y-Staff.
Manage Student YMCA Membership
We highly encourage all of our schools to become official Student YMCA Chapters by completing the membership process in the online community. Membership is $15 per student, making them members of our Y and qualifying them for a discount on each of our 4 major programs (KYA, KUNA, LTC and GFI).
Only Student YMCA Chapters with 100% delegation membership can have Candidates for Presiding Officer at KYA and KUNA. Students serving in specialized program areas who want to be a Presiding Officer the following year must be a Student Y member.
