Haven is a Louisville native and a former KUNA kid. He started his collegiate career at Morehouse College before transferring to the University of Louisville where he majored in Sociology.
Haven believes that the key to success is to find innovative solutions to complex problems. This philosophy has led Haven to become an active member in the community where he has founded such organizations as West Louisville Talks and the award winning social journalism program the Main Event Leadership Academy. Haven currently sits on the board of Vital Sites and serves as the vice-president of the board of the KMAC Museum.
Haven is excited to join the Y as Director of Program Outreach where he can use his experience to further the Y’s work in building community, empowering Kentucky’s youth, and creating programs that improve our state.
