Ricki Brooke was born and raised in Berea, Kentucky and now resides in Richmond, Kentucky. She graduated from Madison Southern High School in 2008 where she was involved in many leadership and service groups. Ricki Brooke graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2012 with a BA in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in History, then again in 2016 with a Masters of Public Administration.
Ricki Brooke has been involved with several different service initiatives within her community and the State. Much of this service was with the Kentucky Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Seminar. She participated at HOBY as a student and continued to serve as a volunteer in various positions with the organization for 13 years.
Ricki Brooke has continued the mission of uplifting youth through her roles with the Kentucky YMCA Youth Association. She is thrilled to provide opportunities to teens by supporting the staff team as the organization’s Senior Directing Manager. KY YMCA values closely align with causes in which Ricki Brooke has dedicated so much of her life. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving Kentucky youths and search for innovative ideas to propel KY YMCA and its programs forward.
Outside of work Ricki Brooke enjoys spending time and finding new things to do with her husband and two kiddos. They spend many of their warm weather weekends camping. Ricki Brooke also spends this time on her other passion as a Doula, providing support and education to birthing persons.
